Coaching for Champions!

Early Life & Determination
Born in 1966 in Zanzibar, my journey began with humble roots and a relentless spirit for growth. I completed secondary school in 1983, but life's circumstances led my family to relocate to Oman that same year. Determined to support my family while dreaming of further studies, I quickly entered the workforce, taking on the role of a kitchen boy at Airwork Limited inside the Rusail military camp. Working long hours washing dishes, cleaning, and assisting the chefs, I embraced the challenge with a focus on growth. Within four months, my hard work paid off-I was promoted to a waiter role in the junior staff mess, soon after moving up to the senior staff mess, with my salary reflecting my rapid advancement. This experience taught me the value of discipline, perseverance, and seizing opportunities.
Professional Growth

An Entry Into Banking Sector
Entry into the Banking Sector After nearly a year at Airwork, I secured a role as a cashier with the National Bank of Oman (NBO) in Nizwa. This position required dedication, as I commuted daily from Izki, balancing work and family commitments. These challenges strengthened my resolve to achieve more, setting the stage for my next significant milestone.
A Dream Realized
Joining Petroleum Development Oman (PDO)
In March 1985, I joined Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), a prestigious company I had long aspired to work for. Starting in the supply department, I was entrusted with the role of expediter, PDO invested in my growth, allowing me to study business at their training center, which led to my transition into administrative roles. Later, I moved into the IT department, where I supported PC users across various locations in Oman. This role laid the foundation for my technical knowledge and adaptability.

Academic Pursuits

In The United Kingdom
In 1995, PDO enabled me to further my studies in the UK, where I completed a BTec and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Returning to PDO in 2000, I was prepared to contribute at a higher level, taking on roles such as mechanical supervisor, multi- discipline project engineer, and head of flowline projects for northern Oman. Each role allowed me to apply my knowledge and mentor the next generation of engineers, a responsibility I took immense pride in.
The Shift to Al Baraka

Oilfield Services and New Beginnings
In 2017, I opted for early retirement from PDO, transitioning to Al Baraka Oilfield Services as a contract manager. This role brought me closer to my roots, as I managed contracts that supported local communities, constructing pipelines and rig sites in southern Oman. After six rewarding years, I retired fully in 2023, but I felt a calling to use my experience in a new way.
Creating an Impactful Legacy

Al Brumi Academy
Reflecting on my career, I realized that my most fulfilling moments involved guiding young engineers in their professional development. Inspired by this, I decided to establish Al Brumi Academy, where I could help others unlock their potential. To enhance my skills, I joined the Proctor and Gallagher Institute as a consultant and began working with the "Thinking Into Results" program, which I found transformative. Eager to expand my knowledge further, I enrolled in a PhD program in psychology at Highland University of California, focusing on integrating PGI principles.
